About Quick Fact Checker
An AI-powered tool that helps you cut through misinformation — built in the open, for everyone.
What Is Quick Fact Checker?
QuickFactChecker is a machine learning–based web app that helps detect whether a news article is real or fake. It uses models like Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and LSTM — trained on the LIAR dataset — to evaluate credibility and help users identify potentially misleading information.
We aim to empower individuals to make informed decisions in an era of rapid information sharing.
Models Under the Hood
All models are trained on the LIAR dataset — a benchmark corpus of 12,836 labeled political statements. Read the model blog →
